Vint Cerf (Vinton Gray Cerf) é um cientista informático americano mais conhecido como um pioneiro da Internet.
Com o engenheiro Bob Kahn, Cerf desenvolveu a suite de protocolos TCP/IP e a arquitectura que permitiu a "rede de redes" global em que a Internet se tornou. Por sua contribuição, Vint Cerf é freqüentemente chamado de "pai da Internet"
Cerf nasceu em 23 de junho de 1943 em New Haven, Connecticut. Ele recebeu seu PhD da UCLA, onde conheceu Bob Kahn que estava trabalhando na arquitetura de hardware ARPANET. Os dois homens desenharam o conjunto de protocolos DoD TCP/IP enquanto Cerf lecionava na Stanford University.
